Items on display

Sellers consign items to short-term rental properties, where guests can buy them. If an item is lost, stolen or damaged while it is on display at a property, StayMarket pays the seller the share they would have earned from selling it: 60% of the listed price.

Hosts are not charged for lost or damaged items. We do ask hosts to report them promptly.

Value limit

Items listed on StayMarket can be priced at up to $200. This keeps coverage simple and predictable for everyone.

Reporting a missing or damaged item

Hosts can mark an item missing or damaged from their property store, which takes it out of that property's store. Sellers can then email support@staymarket.app with the item name to arrange payment.
